28oz/792g olive oil
2 egg yolks
2oz/57g beeswax
2oz/57g creamed coconut
9.5oz/269g spring water
4oz/113g lye
2tbsp/30g lemon essential oil
1tsp/5g vitamin E oil
- Grease the mould. Set aside 1oz/28g of oilve oil and whisk this up with the egg yolks.
- Place the remaining olive oil, beewax and creamed coconut in pot.
- Add lye to water.
227g/8oz vegetable fat
227g/8oz calendula-infused sweet almond oil
227g/8oz sunflower oil
227g/8oz white beeswax
312g/11oz spring water
142g/5oz lye
5g/1tsp carrot seed oil
The temperature: 49 - 60°C/120 - 140°F
Trace time: 90mins
Add the carrot seed oil and stir well when traced.
Leave to set for 24hrs or until the soap reaches a solid consistency. And leave to cure for 6 weeks.
